About
Attorney Jessica R. Whitley Coleman graduated in 2004 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After receiving her undergraduate degree she attended classes for a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro during 2004 and 2005. In 2008 she received her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
While in law school, she worked at the Wake County District Attorney’s Office and at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office. Upon passing the bar in 2008 she joined Anderson and Associates Attorneys, PLLC in Wilmington, North Carolina. She operated the firm’s Bolivia office location until 2011 when she started her own firm, Whitley Coleman, PLLC. Jessica has appeared in criminal court in more than ten counties in North Carolina.
Her practice centers on personal injury cases and criminal matters, including both misdemeanors and felonies. Jessica is passionate about helping juveniles and those suffering from mental illness and addiction.
In her spare time she loves spending time with family which includes her husband, John, son, Luke, and her parents, Mark and Renee. If not with family she enjoys running and hot yoga classes.
